Sunrise recently helped a client’s son with his Eagle Scout project. Here is a letter he wrote to us:

Dear Sunrise Landscape + Design,

For a number of years, The Eldin School in Reston, Virginia, wanted a community garden to provide a fun and interactive way to teach students science, life skills, and maintenance of a sustainable earth through creating and maintaining a garden. My Eagle Scout Service Project was to construct a 250 square foot raised garden at the school. … At completion, the project required a total of 186 man hours and donated materials.

Sunrise Landscape + Design not only provided most of the materials for my Eagle Scout Service Project but also helped me with design concepts. So thank you very much for all of your help and support with my project. If not for Sunrise Landscape + Design’s generous donation and delivery of the materials, the project would not have happened.

Peter came each day to check on the crew’s progress and another fine staffer, Pablo, came periodically to check on things and assist Osman and Manuel with the project.

One of the best things we noticed was how clean our yard was left at the end of each work day. We really appreciated that! At any rate, the patio turned out great and we are super pleased!
